In order to use MINUIT with SCRAM the following steps have to be done. The instructions are for users of csh/tcsh shell. Bash shell users should follow instructions here.
and check that scram points to /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/app/spi/scram/scram. The script should define automatically the environment variable SCRAM_ARCH according to your platform and compiler available on your computer. For example for PC Linux running redhat 7.3 with compiler gcc 3.2.3 SCRAM_ARCH should be rh73_gcc323
scram list SEAL
scram project SEAL SEAL_x_x_x
This will create a directory named SEAL_x_x_x and setup the configuration environment for that particular version of SEAL.
setenv CVSROOT :pserver:anonymous@SEAL.cvs.cern.ch:/cvs/SEAL
setenv CVSROOT :kserver:SEAL.cvs.cern.ch:/cvs/SEAL
cvs co MathLibs/Minuit
cvs co -r SEAL_x_x_x MathLibs/Minuit
This will create a shared library called liblcg_Minuit.so. The library is put inside SEAL_x_x_x/$(SCRAM_ARCH)/lib
cd tests/MnTutorial; scram b
eval `scram runtime -csh`
and the produced output should look like this one here.
